Cheap but very effective ad stunt for TV Show


Prison Break has just started showing the first episodes of season 2 in Canada and the US while the first season is showing in France. For a cheap but effective ad stunt 'Wanted' posters of the main characters are being posted on telephone posts etc. in the streets. I think the idea is great, once again shows that simple ideas can beat mega bucks and probably be far more effective in quite a few cases.

Global in Canada has found a novel and appropriate way of getting the message to the streets that season 2 of Prison Break has started. The Wanted posters that you can see below are posted on posts in the streets as you can also see here.

There are variations on the posters, there is a double bill version over there at flickr.

But you've got to love this one with the face to fit the slogan. Especially when you've seen the series, he kind of gives you the creeps...
